Audience Migration

Due to TikTok’s current audience integration being deprecated in favor of a new TikTok Audience integration, please follow these steps in order to migrate your active audience connections to the new integration.

1. Disconnect Ad Groups on TikTok audiences

The following steps must be executed on TikTok Ads Manager site.

1. Go to Tools/Audience manager.
2. Click on the audience you want to disconnect.
3. Select all Ad Groups.
4. Click Disconnect Ad Groups and then Confirm.

2. Disconnect current TikTok audience outputs

The following steps must be executed in the mParticle app.

1. Go to SETUP/Outputs/AUDIENCE.
2. Look for TikTok Event Default group and expand it.
3. Click on the connections box right beside the output name.
4. Select all audiences in the list and click Disconnect Audiences.

3. Create new TikTok Audience outputs

The following steps must be executed in the mParticle app.

1. Go to DIRECTORY and search for TikTok.
2. Hover over the tile called TikTok For Business - AUDIENCE.
3. In the tile, click on Setup option.
4. Check the Audience option and click Configure.
5. Input your configuration name.
6. Click Log in - A pop-up window will appear allowing you to enter your account credentials to access your TikTok For Business account.
7. Click Confirm to authorize mParticle to access your TikTok For Business account.
8. Select your Account Advertiser ID and click Save.
9. You can now connect your audiences to TikTok For Business.

4. Connect multiple audiences to a new output

The following steps must be executed in the mParticle app.

1. Go to SETUP/Outputs/AUDIENCE.
2. Look for TikTok Audience Default group and expand it.
3. Hover over the ... option (at the far right) of the ouput you want to connect and click Connect Audiences.
4. Check all the audiences you want to connect to that output and click Next.
5. Fill your Connection Settings and click Connect
6. Click Close
